That is 80.0% of what the buyer paid — the card fee is ours, not yours. Ten sales like this would be 148 000 ֏.
You keep 80% of what the buyer actually paid — not 80% of the list price, and not 80% of what is left after somebody else’s fee. If a code takes the price down, the split follows the real figure, so a commission is never charged on a price nobody paid. The card processing fee comes out of our 20%, not out of your 80%, whatever the buyer pays with.
Payment happens on the provider's own secure page. MotusPage never sees or stores a card number — it is told only whether the payment succeeded. There is nothing here for a card to leak from.
Once someone has bought a book it stays in their library. That holds even if you later unlist it or replace it with a newer edition, so a sale is never quietly undone.
Selling is not held back for a paid plan — a Free creator can price a book and be paid for it. Plans buy storage, allowances and the creator tools, not permission to earn.
A code changes what the buyer is charged, and every line after it follows: the card fee, the split and your share are all worked out against the amount that actually reached the provider. Nobody is charged a commission on a price nobody paid.
Your share is recorded the moment a sale completes, and becomes payable 5 days later, once the refund window has passed. A sale can only be refunded inside that window, so once the money reaches you it is yours. Payouts run every Wednesday, and there is no fee for being paid.
